A fellow northern RI digger has been
turning up a few RI bottles. Among them was a Blanding &
Blanding Pharmacists Providence, RI in an unlisted 8-1/8” size.
One of his best finds was a Household
Doctor, Life Saver 30 Years,
which is actually a Dr. Harrison's Pain Curer missing the front panel
embossing. How interesting!
I added another very rare RI fruit jar,
this time it was the older Earle & Perry Pat. April 17, 1877.
A friend who collects jars was nice enough to part with it in a
trade.
It is very rare for a Craigslist ad to
pay off. This one did, though it was just one bottle. The Mason
B. Woods Druggist Watchemoket, RI was an unlisted 4-1/2” size.
A friend spotted this tough to find
L.P. Beaudry & William Harrop Pawtucket, RI medicine at a
flea market. It was also an unlisted 5-1/2” size.
